We are a production studio offering services and facilities for the arts.
As of April 1st, 2024, our shop is operating from the Asiat site in Vilvoorde.
TheWorkshop emerged from HISK, which at the end of 2023 temporarily ceased it’s activities.
We – the former production team – initiated a new support workshop for the wider artistic community in Brussels and around.
Leveraging our extensive experience and expertise, along with a wide range of machinery, our aim is to assist artists in realising productions and projects.
Additionally, we seek to provide artistic-technical guidance, skill training, and networking opportunities.
Support throughout the creative process by providing extensive artistic and technical assistance.
From the conceptual phase to the realization of a projects, we work together with the artist, providing services such as :
. Conceptual development : refine and define ideas. Understanding the intention behind an artwork and how it can best be realized.
. Technical guidance : depending on chosen medium and technique, the teaching of new skills, fine-tuning of existing techniques, or providing assistance and execution with specific methods.
. Material selection : The right materials can transform a vision. Guidance in choosing and using these materials can be crucial to the final result.
. Critical reflection : periodic feedback sessions can help look at a work from different perspectives, allowing to refine and improve the work.
. Budget management, support with making budgets, identifying cost-effective alternatives or monitoring a financial oversight .
. Providing expertise through a network of partners, suppliers, external production facilities, and educational institutions established over the years.
.Assistance with the placement or the presentation.
