Is it a nightstand? A stool? A trolley? It’s all of the above, brought to life by @wannes_goetschalckx , TheWorkshop member and self-proclaimed Sunday carpenter, in what has become his signature style—an unmistakable @fourtybyfourtybyfourty design. Crafted from beech plywood and green MDF, it’s assembled with 36 beech through-dowels and finished with two coats of ultra-matte varnish. The cube sits neatly on four dowels and a contrasting board with color-matched casters. The drawer is accessible from both sides, adding extra versatility to this multi-functional piece.
This piece was created for @tastbaar.collectief and will be featured as part of the scenography for the Vuurwerk Festival at @degrotepost in Oostende.

Early in the summer, we built a flat-bottomed boat for and with @pozlepmark This type of boat, with its shallow draft, is ideal for navigating shallow waters, making it less likely to run aground. Mark provided us with a design to be executed in aluminum.
This week, Mark embarked on his project, Everything Under, using the boat to explore lesser-known sections of waterways along the Gent-Terneuzen Canal, Leie, Ringvaart, and Visserij. Follow his journey @pozlepmark
