VideoSculpture XVII (January 6th), Emmanuel Van der Auwera, 2023
This installation by Emmanuel Van der Auwera consists of a grid of 30 second-hand computer screens that together form a single, unified image. Each screen is individually controlled by its own media player, with the group of 30 networked players functioning as a synchronized video wall. We designed and implemented the hardware, software, and programming for the video wall, built the custom aluminum structure with an integrated mounting system for the screens, and developed a setup that enables quick and efficient installation.
